Italian Toast Ingredients

Step 1: prepare the ingredients.

To make toast, you will need rye bread, if you manage to find a pumpernickel, it will be just perfect. Cheese needs hard, chopped large, but thin slices. Still need a small tomato and the same small champignon. And, of course, you need pesto, you can buy it or make it yourself. Also, the ingredients indicated butter, put it in advance from the refrigerator, so that it softens.

Step 2: chop the tomato.

Rinse the tomato and cut into thin circles.

Step 3: chop the mushrooms.

Cut the peeled and washed champignon in the same thin slices.

Step 4: grease the bread with butter.

Lubricate the slices of rye bread with soft butter on one side.

Step 5: Cooking Italian Toasts.

Preheat the pan and place the bread with the oiled side down in it.

Slightly stepping away from the center, lay a slice of cheese.

Now lay out the slices of tomato and mushrooms.

Lubricate the filling with one tablespoon of pesto and place another piece of cheese from the opposite side from the previous edge.

Cover with a second slice of bread butter up.

Cover and cook for 1 minutesthen turn over carefully and cook again 1-2 minutesso that both slices of bread are fried and the cheese is melted.
If you have enough agility and pan size, cook both toasts at once.

Step 6: serve Italian toasts.

Italian toasts are served hot, immediately after cooking. Cut them in half and enjoy a simple but rather original snack. It can be a quick breakfast or just an afternoon snack. I think that Italian toasts will be delicious at any time of the day.
